Description This luxurious grooming vanity case, fitted with glass bottles and ivory-handled brushes, was created by Louis Vuitton for the 1931 International Colonial exhibition.  Similar to the LV Chenal toiletry case which LV introduced in 1929, this one was constructed with exotic crocodile exterior and red leather interior.  Inside there are seven cut-glass bottles with silver lids (all pristine), 2 silver canisters, various implements, and brushes and pumice stones with extraordinary ivory handles. 2 ivory bill poxes, too!   Measurements (closed):9.25” heigh 13.75 long 6.15 deep   It is in good condition for its age, except for the weary handle which in need of repair.  Key has been misplaced.
