This auction is for a week at my very favorite resort in all of Cabo. I have stayed in over 15 resorts in Cabo, and there is no other like Playa Grande. Playa Grande is located at Lands End, with view of both Cabo and the Pacific Ocean. It is located on Solmar Beach which is a privately owned beach with no vendors trying to sell you stuff. It is across the street from the marina, where all of the fishing fleets, party boats, and water taxis meet. The walk to town is about a 10 minute walk along the marina, which is safe with many other resort goers and cruisers. It is well lit at night and is very romantic. You could easily get away without a rental car your whole trip if you want to just stay local.  The resort itself was built in over 7 years. This is great b/c I have watched many resorts go up in 1-2 years, anxious for a chance to stay in them. Unfortunately, I wasted my money on them as they were so poorly built that you could hear people just waking past the outside of your room. Playa Grande has been qualitatively built, and you can't even hear people in the living room of your suite b/c of how nicely the resort was built. These are important things to me when I vacation. I Have been an owner since the resort was only dirt and have never rented it out until this year, as I just delivered my first baby. I will not miss out on it again. In fact we just bought a second room at the resort for our family to vacation with us, and my father in law just bought one this last year as well. You will not be disappointed. The spa is unlike any other you have experienced. It is a bit pricey, but well worth every penny.  There is an internet room, mini golf, a large gym, salon, and many other amenities. I will be happy to talk with anyone who is interested in knowing more information about Cabo, Playa Grande, not to be missed restaurants, and activities. Like I said, I haven't missed a year in almost 2 decades.  I am sure I am forgetting something! I looked up several quotes on renting a master suite from other websites and travel agencies. Playa Grande was offering 40% off, leaving you with a $1600 bill not including a 10% Mexico IVA tax, a 3% bed tax, and a 10% service charge. I only want to recoup my annual loss from not being able to go this year.
