Just outside of Nottingham. Great Fun for all the family OR Guys & Girls Holiday (mixed only) Saturday to Saturday Dates: 18-APRIL-2009 TO THE 25-APRIL-2009  You will need a minimum of 3 adults for this boat to help through the locks. There is a utility charge NOW £124.95 for fuel and gas. Also a £500 Security and Damage deposit is required Via credit card. This fee will not be charged to your card, all that is required are the card details in case the boat is damaged or not returned. There is also an optional £39.99 insurance for any damage against the boat which would protect the £500 deposit. Payable upon arrival to sawley marina. Training will be given so you are advised to arrive early. You will be shown how to use the locks and how to maintain and drive the boat during your weeks holiday. The boat needs to be returned outside of the marina the night before you leave for a quick departure on saturday morning. The Canals  Left out of sawley marina will take you on a relaxing cruise up the Trent & Mersey canal with its wide open country side, small pubs, restaurants and little villages, with lots to see and do. Right out of sawley marina will give you three options to travel. The Erewash canal which leads upto Ilkeston again very rural with villages and pubs. The Trent canal will lead you to Nottingham, for a more lively and historical, industrial route. The river Soar which leads you to Loughborough. Some routes may not always be available depending on weather conditions. Information will be given to you on arrival.
