The Tahoe Edgelake Beach Club is located approximately 42 miles from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport in Reno, NV. A little more than one mile up the road you will find Crystal Bay, NV. Host to 4 casinos, the Tahoe Biltmore Lodge and Casino, Crystal Bay Club, Calneva, and the Nugget. Crystal Bay is the perfect place to try your luck with Nevada style gaming. The Tahoe Edgelake Beach Club has basic cable, telephones, microwaves, dishwashers, and fireplaces. Firewood is not allowed in the fireplace, only prepackaged logs, which may be purchased in the office. Lake Tahoe is 6,200 feet above sea level. You should be aware that the altitude will sometimes cause a shortness of breath and may cause you to feel tired fro a short period of time. For those who have any medical problems and are not used to high altitudes, we urge you to consult your doctor before coming to Lake Tahoe. Winter is considered November through May in Lake Tahoe. Please contact the resort in advance for late check-in instructions. The office hours are 8am to 6pm daily. Phone lines open at 9am Important Timeshare Rental Information: Timeshare works very similiar to the way you rent a hotel room. You pay for the room at a fixed rate/price and in addition you will have to pay for incidentals. (eg Telephone calls, room service, food, parking, valet parking, etc). Apon check-in at the resort you will need your resevation number, drivers license, and credit card at check-in. The credit card is needed for incidentals that you might or might not use during your stay at the resort. When staying at a timeshare condo for a week, you will only have room service once or maybe twice depending on the resort. You will not have the bathroom towels or your bed linen changed every day as in a hotel. You can have this done every day if you wish, but it will most likely be an additional charge and it is not covered in the weekly rate. This will be an additional charge to you for extra room cleanings during your stay. When you check in please find out what days they will be cleaning your room and what you need to do if you want your towels replaced with clean/fresh towels. If you want your towels replaced on the day they do a cleaning - from my experience you will most likely place them on the floor in the bathroom and when they clean they will be replaced with clean/fresh towels. If you have them hanging up on the towel rail or over the shower door or shower curtain - they will not be replaced with clean towels. If you use the kitchen - all the dirty plates, knives and forks you will have to wash. The full kitchens will most likely come with a dish washer. If you dont have any more dish washer soap - ask the front desk for some more. Most timeshare units that have 1 or more bedrooms will most likely come with a washer and dryer that you can do washing with.
