The case has a new handle supplied by Louis Vuitton in Bal Harbor, Florida. The initials were applied in Paris and can be removed with lacquer thinner but may disturb the LV monogram printed on the brown leather. There is no key but Vuitton will supply one with the lock number on the keyhole. It is in excellent condition for it's age. The current price for this item new..is $4020.
